Monthly News/Events

Friday, July 4th: 

  • The church office will be closed and their will be no exercise class in observation of Independence Day.
  • The Youth will have a 4th of July party at the home of Brent & Amber Howell.  Contact the Howells for further details.
  • There will be an Ice Cream Supper at the building beginning at 6:00 PM.  Bring your favorite homemade or store bought ice cream to share and/or cookies and drinks.  After the ice cream supper many will be going to the fireworks display in downtown Waco.

Sunday, July6

  • There will be a VBS planning meeting at 5:15 PM in the ladies classroom.
  • The 50's + group will have a get together in the fellowship room after our evening worship service.
  • The youth will have a dinner and devotional at the home of Randy & Diana Fisher after our PM worship service.

Tuesday, July 8, 15 & 29: The youth will attend the Summer Youth Series.  See Eric Wharton for details on this.

Thursday, July 10, 24 & 31:  The youth will have an in depth Bible study at the buildin. See Eric Wharton for details on this.

Sunday, July 13 - There will be a Diaper & Baby Wipes shower for Tamara Hinkle.  More details on this will be available soon. Contact Carrrie Gochenour if you would like to help.

Sunday, July 13 & 27:  There will be VBS planning meetings at 5:15 PM in the ladies' classroom

Sunday July 13: The youth will have a dinner and devotional at the Ragers after our evening worship service.

Thursday, July 17 through Tuesday, July 22: Some of our 30's -40's class members and their children will be going to New Mexico for a Family Encampment.

Saturday, July 19: There will be a Ladies Ministries Workday from 10:30 AM till 12 noon at the Ladies Ministries Building.  Bring your own drink and a salad to share.  See Sharon Youngblood if you have questions.

Saturday, July 26:  The 21st Century Woman group (girls ages 4th grade through young adult) will have Part 2 of their Basic Cake Decorating Class.  This will begin at 10 AM  in the fellowship room. Sharon Youngblood will be the instructor.
