WBS Internet at New Road

 

WBS is one of the Christian brotherhood’s most proven, cost-effective means of spreading the Gospel to a lost world. God uses WBS by linking a worldwide network of Christians to teach and reach truth-seekers, leading them to God. Everyday Christians, equipped with WBS printed and electronic Bible courses, help teach those who want to study.

 

WBS’ Mission:

“To share Jesus with the world’s lost by motivating and equipping a global network of Christians to use interactive Bible studies effectively.”

 

WBS Reference Points:

·        Students in all the world’s 200-plus countries, with lessons in 44 languages.

·        Over 2,000,000 truth-seekers studying WBS Bible lessons; 1,000,000 new enrollees each year.

·        Thousands of volunteer, everyday Christians sharing the Gospel as caring “pen pals” and online friends.

·        Demand is surging for WBS Internet: Web courses, on-line advertising, social networks, viral marketing—all for world evangelism.

·        One dollar—just $1.00—used by WBS lets one soul study the Bible (see back).

·        Each year, 26,000 WBS students request baptism. (That’s one baptism request for every $77 used by WBS. Amazing!)

There are about 15 members signed up to do World Bible School via the internet. There is a donation requested to help maintain the internet services that WBS provides.  Normally the cost is about $10 per month but since we are enrolling a group the cost has been cut to about $7 per month.  If you want to help with this expense you may put money in the mission envelope and mark WBS as the mission.

World Bible School's international headquarters is in Cedar Park, Texas, US. The Internet office and servers are located in Abilene, Texas. Most of the WBS Internet staff and support team work remotely from around the globe. They utilize Internet technologies to function as a team to serve you and more than 90,000 students who enroll via the web each year.
